The Tempest, a play written by William Shakespeare is a tale bristling with drama, action, adventure and wonderfully crafted endearing characters.

We had the opportunity to see a ‘Modern Unique Production’ of this title with my other school friends at NCPA, Nariman Point on 14th September 2013. The play was in a form of dance and pantomime. With an enchanted theme of dance and music, it created magic in hearts of the audience and lured them till the end.

Walking to school on a rainy morning

As I peered through the window pane

What did I see? The pattering rain

All of us friends made a huddle

To jump into the humungous puddle

We were singing and talking

Playing and walking

We were gleefully prancing

As the rain came down dancing

                                    ABOVE THE GROUND

Above the ground there are animals, lakes, seas,

With wonderful trees and buzzing bees.

Humans, there are several on it

But each one is different from the other a bit.

They eat and sleep and play,

 This happens the whole day.

There are buildings, vehicles above ground,

There’s too much noise and lots of sound.
