Bright Start International Preschool

Curriculum

Our scientifically researched curriculum is fluid as it accommodates newer developments and research in the field of early childhood education with our structured pedagogical practices. The recently released National Curriculum Framework (NCF) 2022 finds a place in our curriculum. We build on children’s early experiences and translate them into higher-order critical and creative thinking skills and a sense of identity, autonomy, and confidence. We ensure their learning experience at Bright Start is fortified with love, care, warmth, and patience.

Our syllabus includes developing their foundation in oral language skills, reading skills, writing skills, phonological awareness, sound and visual association, cognition, calculation, creativity, vestibular, proprioceptive and tactile sensory stimulations, cultural sensitivity, and moral values. English is taught as the first language and competency. We teach songs and rhymes in regional languages like Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Sanskrit. We help children move towards more logical thinking by helping them graduate from their perception-bound to more concept-based understanding. We address the following key developmental areas of children:

  • Language & Literacy
  • Early Mathematics
  • Sports, Gym, Yoga & Exercises
  • Arts & Craft
  • Music & Dance
  • Prayer & Cultural Sensitisation
  • Purposeful Play
  • Values- compassion, friendliness, patience, discipline
  • Digital Literacy
  • Global attitude

At Bright Start, our curriculum adheres to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and combines the best practices of different curricula like Montessori, Playway, and Multiple Intelligence making students ready for formal high school curriculum, co-curricular as well as sports activities.
