The Upanishads teach us that the supreme power is not sought from outside but discovered within oneself. This supreme power is the source of everything in life including happiness. I felt that if I have to nurture an independent and emancipated younger generation, I need to free them from excessive reliance on external stimuli for every gratification. With this thought, I designed a teaching methodology that aimed at strengthening the child’s inner core, which is the source of immense happiness.
Happy Learning is a methodology inspired by the Vedantic philosophy of प्राप्तस्य प्राप्ति: Praptasya Prapti (Uncover the happiness within) and सा विद्या या विमुक्तये Sa Vidya ya Vimuktaye (Educate to Excel and Learn to Liberate).
The dignity of each child should be maintained by respecting his or her individuality. Each one has a great potential which needs to be nurtured at school by providing the right education at the right time to allow the process of blooming to the fullest. For me, Bright Start is a family and school that strives to provide a homely atmosphere where learners develop a love for learning and mature into confident and compassionate citizens of the world who are eager to contribute towards world peace and progress.
